There are two reasons for me to learn Japanese.
First, I have watched Chibi Maruko-chan ちびまるこちゃん and Detective Conan 名探偵コナン for more than 15 years. I like these two very much. Therefore, by learning Japanese, I hope in future I can watch them without subtitles.
What's more, I will graduate in one semester, and want to find a job related to marketing research in Asian-Pacific region. For marketing research, both analytical ability and language skills are important. I've known Chinese and English. Hence, learning Japanese helps me enhance the probability of getting my ideal job.
After the first four weeks of Japanese class, I'm still not very familiar with hiragana. It takes me some time to write numbers or times in hiragana. However, the feeling of learning a new language is joyful and exciting. I'm looking forward to learn more expressions, and use them in different contexts.
